Promise Jackson vs Chloe Cooper

The smaller Chloe Cooper was shocked to see just how athletic Promise Jackson was. Promise used her size to her advantage for most of the match. Chloe went for a springboard move but was interrupted by a superkick from Promise before she could connect. Promise picked her up and hit the Wasteland, then threw herself onto Chloe with a Senton and successfully got the three-count.

Mateo Delgado vs Bruce Cannon

Similar to the last match, Bruce Cannon had a size and power advantage. He controlled most of the match, until Mateo was able to catch him off guard with a Busaiku Knee. After a while, Bruce got back up to both feet and approached Mateo but was again caught off guard with a schoolboy pin. The ref counted three and Mateo quickly retreated out of the ring. He celebrated on the ramp as Bruce sat in frustration in the ring.

Jade Bridges vs Sage Benton

These two women put on a very competitive match that saw Jade Bridges win after hitting a Gutwrench Suplex and locking in the LeBell Lock, leaving Sage Benton no other option but to tap out.

Elijah Matthews vs Dalton Vito

Elijah Matthews fought with his heart, but Dalton Vito fought with strategy and wasn't afraid to cheat. The referee took a tumble to the outside later in the match after Elijah missed a clothesline intended for Dalton.

While the ref was down, Dalton poked Elijah in the eyes and hit him with a low blow. He left the ring and picked the referee up, tossing him back in the ring. Elijah got up and was immediately met with a Running Calf Kick courtesy of Dalton Vito. Dalton went for the pin and the ref slowly counted three.

Dalton stood confidently in the ring and grabbed a microphone. He bragged about winning the match and explained that he would be going all the way to the finals and winning the GWC World Championship. He then told the audience that they can shut up if they don't like it.

Backstage

The camera cut to the backstage area, where Clementine Fairchild was getting ready for the upcoming match. Tempest Saint, who Clementine had previously beaten in the tournament, approached her and wished her luck. Clementine thanked her and the two hugged before Clementine made her way to the entrance.

Clementine Fairchild vs Moya Mote

The passion that both of these women had in this match was very apparent. The two traded momentum and control of the match back and forth like a game of catch. Clementine hit her signature Sunset Flip Powerbomb but was only able to get two out of it. She got back up and continued the offense.

Clementine went for a kick to the stomach, but Moya was able to catch her leg. She spun Clementine around and hit a Dragon Suplex. She then ascended to the top rope and hit a ring-shaking Legdrop. Moya draped her arm over Clementine and got a three count. The two met in the middle of the ring after the match and shook hands. Clementine left the ring to let Moya celebrate her victory.

Pandora vs Deontay Breen

Unlike Jeremy Nordin, Deontay Breen didn't take a match against Pandora lightly. Deontay tried to keep the pace of the match fast, to combat Pandora's slower, power-based style. Deontay used a lot of running and high-flying moves.

Pandora went for a running clothesline, but Deontay ducked and ran to the ropes. He jumped off the ropes and hit a springboard crossbody. He got back to his feet and waited for her to do the same. Pandora got back up and was hit by Deontay's Mushroom Stomp. He went for a cover, but the referee only counted to two before Pandora got her shoulder up. The two got back up and this time, Deontay hit a picture perfect 540 Kick. But before he could go for another cover, Pandora rolled out of the ring.

Deontay got out of the ring and approached Pandora, but she slid in the ring before he got to her. Deontay slid back in the ring and Pandora hit the ropes. Deontay got to his feet and was immediately met with a Spear from Pandora. She slowly crawled back towards him and made a cover, but Deontay kicked out at two. She picked Deontay up and looked to be setting up for a Powerbomb, but Deontay saw it coming and used a back body drop to get out of it.

He quickly went to the top rope and waited for Pandora to get back up. Once she had gotten up, he went for a hurricanrana, but Pandora caught him. She brought him up and quickly threw him down, connecting with the Powerbomb she was looking for. She covered him and the referee counted the three count. Deontay got back up and shook Pandora's hand, then raised it to the crowd.

GWC Spotlight: Arden Blair

GWC Spotlight #2:  Arden Blair Arden Blair has been a dominant force on the GWC roster since the company's inception. She was the first woman to win a match for the company. After a loss in the semifinals of the GWC Women's World Championship Tournament, she has been on a mean streak, taking the GWC Women's roster down one-by-one. The only person who has really seemed to have her number is Maria Miller, who has been on a hot streak of her own. But with Chloe Cooper and Lucy Bishop by her side, it's going to be even more difficult to slow Arden Blair down. She may not be the most honest or moral person on the roster, but it's almost certain that championship gold is in her future. And for that, we're giving her the Spotlight. We know she'll love it.

GWC Defiance Madison, Wisconsin | May 25 , 2023 Ayako Masaki vs Morgan Kennedy Despite what fans may think of Morgan Kennedy, she held her own in this match, although Ayako Masaki seemed to still out-wrestle Morgan. The two wrestled back and forth, getting the crowd invested, ultimately rooting for Ayako. When Ayako seemed to have the match won, Ubel Kol came down to the ring to distract her. But not long after he came down, Seara Iverson did as well, steel chair in hand. She took a swing at the back of Ubel, who barely flinched. Ubel turned around and stood, staring at Seara. Ayako was still distracted by this whole situation, which gave Morgan an opportunity to roll Ayako up with a schoolboy. The referee counted three and Morgan sprang to her feet in excitement. Ubel turned around and headed into the ring to hold Morgan's arm up. Ayako slid out of the ring and Seara checked on her.
